CANCELLED :(

I was upset for two reasons:
  1. My team's Alaminos-Bolinao trip was cancelled. Actually, dapat November2011 pa dapat ito but we all agreed na imove na lang ng January 2012. Pero, hindi pa din siya natuloy. :( Hopefully, this time matuloy na. We are planning to pursue the said trip this coming Feb 25, 2012.

  2. I was not able to visit Ilocos!. Sad for the second time. :( Natuloy ang trip ng barkada, ako lang ang hindi nakasama. It's all because of money. But, I will propose an Ilocandia trip to my family. I love Ilocos so gusto ko talagang mapuntahan yun this year. Hopefully, pumayag ang relatives ko na dun kami this July.

My out-of-town trips last January was just a dream. But, dreams do come true. Right?

P.S.
Dahil sa na upset ako ng bonggang bongga, I decided to have a walk on Luneta Park. At hindi ako binigo ng Luneta. Gumaan ang feeling ko..Hehehe..

We are all bored. No good TV show to watch. No good movie to watch. So, My cousin, Ate Ludy invited us to go to Mt. Hulog (as they call the place). Excited ang lahat. Yehey! The whole gang are ready. From Brgy. Caingin, Maragondon, we drove to Bonifacio Shrine. According to Ate Ludy, the shrine itself is located in the mountain of Mt. Nagpatong. Hindi namin namalayan, nasa bundok na pla kami. Haha..

For 20php, you will able to tour the whole place. Okay na din. :)

My friend and I decided to visit this place, La Mesa Eco Park. It was a sunny Saturday morning. It was indeed a perfect time to have a walked on this mini forest (that's how I describe this place).  I was amazed on how a place like this be in Metro Manila. Wow! yun lang nasabi ko :) . First time ko eh and the fact na puro building nakikita ko sa Metro. I grew up in Manila so napapa Wow ako every time I see something green. Just like this. The place is very relaxing. It is a good reward for me bilang stress ka sa work the whole week. Actually, you can do many activities like rapelling, zipline plus boating. Sayang lang I never tried any of those. But, I will definitely try it once I go back.  For your guide, here's the park map.

To get there via commute/public transportation:

From EDSA (Taft Aven to Quezon Aven)
-Take Mrt, get off at Quezon Aven. Station
-Take FX/Shuttle to SM Fairview or Fairview Caltex (you can also take the SM Fairview/Zabarte/Sapang Palay Buses or jeepneys
-Get off at Wilson Street
-Take East Fairview Tricycle to Eco Park
-or-
Take the bus with the signboards: SM fairview/zabarte/Sapang Palay and get off at Wilson street and take tricycle to Eco Park.

And Here's some of the photos. Enjoy!

So refreshing.. Isn't it? :)

I forgot how many steps this is.. Hmmm... a hundred plus ata. Not sure.

Nice view on top. Right?

My Favorite shot!
You can opt to stay on there nipa hut to rest after a long walk.

My 2nd favorite shot!

Masarap mag Ice cream pagkatapos mag lakad-lakad sa ilalim
ng mainit na sikat ng araw. :)

Till my next visit to La Mesa Eco Park. :)
